To create this shoot I used a DSLR camera within day light in Whistable. I did this because I had the opportunity to travel to Whistable and due to me being inspired by the work of Martin Parr. Parr created a collection of beach themed images that each display an individual story within them that is up to interpretation for the viewer of the photograph and that is what I have attempted to create within most of my photographs here.

Due to their being day light within all of these photographs I used a slightly smaller aperture to ensure that the photographs were not over exposed and I changed between a shallow and wide depth of field dependant on what I wanted to capture within the image. For example, within the photograph of the male and female model I wanted the photographs focal point to be them both, so I used a shallow depth of field.

Within each of these photographs I have captured, I have attempted to capture the colour within this daily environment subtly while displaying both contrasting and complimentary colours in small ways. I tried to enhance these subtle colours to attempt to make them seem almost saturated and vintage looking by giving them a colder white balance.

In each photograph I have also displayed clear lines to give each of the photographs a more organised look which helps to divide sections of the images, which almost leads a viewers eye to the focal point of the photograph.
