Fruit Shoot
When creating this shoot I used a high key set up with different coloured card to create both complimentary and contrasting backgrounds. Within this shoot I tried to display different arrangements to make my photographs more interesting. I used a wider aperture to make the photographs lighter and a higher ISO as the room was dark. Within each photograph I attempted to use a new composition for the fruit and I attempted to balance the space between how much was focused on the fruit and how much coloured background is displayed.
When searching for inspiration for my shoots I found this photograph created by Ollie Reinmann. This photograph inspired me to create my own adaptation of his work due to the use of highly saturated coloured props and backgrounds. I therefore created my photograph with coloured fruits and backgrounds that have contrasting colours. I used composition to make my photographic work alter to this individual and make them look like different objects.
