When creating this shoot I used high key studio lighting and props of popcorn boxes and popcorn. I used a wide aperture to make sure my photographs were bright but not over exposed I attempted to create sharp, clear edges within the photographs to create clear divided lines. For these photographs I attempted to create a clear focal point for the images so that there was only one colour being focused on by a viewer. In order to do this I made sure that there was only one prominent colour within both photographs. I did not want to make this too obvious however, so I used a wider aperture to focus on all aspects of the photographs.

When completing my shoot I used the above photograph as my inspiration. This was created by a photographer on Pinterest who used a pastel background and a slightly brighter coloured paint on the props in the photograph. This inspired me to create my own representation of this photograph by using popcorn with slight colours on the box rather than it being in the background to create minimal colour in a different way to this photographer. I used a White and Red colour scheme in my photograph and a differentiating composition for my photographs to create a different perspective on this idea.
