For this shoot I used high key studio lighting to capture the subtle colour of the confetti and when my model popped the balloon. I used shadows in my photographs to minimise the brightness of the photographs to give a warm feeling to the photographs. In order to do this I used a slightly wider aperture and I positioned most of my lighting towards my model rather than the backdrop. I attempted to keep all aspects focused within the photograph to keep all of the colours focused to create a central coloured focus. Within some of the other photographs however, I made sure that each of the confetti pieces were in focus in order to create a wider view point for my photographs and to fill the space within the frame.

As inspiration for my confetti balloon photo shoot I used this photograph above. This photograph inspired me to take high key photographs with a model and a confetti balloon that included posed photographs similar to this. Throughout my photo shoot I also added some photographs of my model popping the balloon in order to capture a photograph in the moment to see how it compared to the posed photographs and to add my own interpretation to this individuals idea.
